the blog entry today is going to be different from my others. The difference is that the other three blogs deals with persons and their behaviors. But this one goes with a poem. A poem from a dead girl. From Hannah Baker.
This was no normal poem, it ment a lot to her and her life. For understanding:
Hannah has found poetry as her therapy. Hannah writes all her written poems in a notebook. She goes every day into the 'Monets' and writes a new one. The poems are full of her emotions she felt on this day. After a while she joined a poetry club where the members talk about their poems. One day she meets Ryan Shaver. Her eight reason. Both of them sit on the steps in front of the club and substituted their notebooks where their poems are in but instant of reading the poems from Hannah, Ryan stole one of them. The one poem he stole ment a lot to Hannah it was her soul. And her soul was published, by you, Ryan Shaver. The students from their school talked about their poem and interpret it. This was insufferable for Hannah. But now to you Ryan.
I thought a long time about you and your behavior against Hannah. I asked myself if you are a real reason, not only for Hannah especially for me too. And yes you are. We both know that you are guilty. And everyone who red the book knows it too. That what you have done was unfair and ruthless. Furthermore you told everyone that you located the things you publish in the school magazine. This is a lie. And that's why you're one of the thirteen reasons for Hannah and me. You exploit the people where the things are really from.
"If you hear a song that makes you cry and you don't want to cry anymore, you don't listen to that song anymore.
"But you can't get away from yourself. You can't decide not to see yourself anymore. You can't decide to turn off the noise in your head." - Hannah Baker.
